The "Dirt" on the paw...

Artist:
Taylor Hunt Wright

I guess one could say that I've been passionate about art ever since the day that I painted, "Tay4" in bold, black letters across my parent's garage door.  You might think that I was a prodigy of graffiti, with a cool tag-name, but in all honesty, I actually believed that's how you spelled: "Taylor," when I was five-years old.

Much to my parent's relief, I eventually moved on from garage doors and started working on paper & canvas. My passion eventually granted me the opportunity to study Studio-Art at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. (As well as Film/Television & Acting, but that's a story for a different setting.)

Upon graduating with a degree in Art & Film, I moved to Los Angeles, where naturally, my finances and LOVE of dogs, persuaded me to create art, in lieu of Birthday & Christmas gifts for friends & family.

Once I realized how much I truly loved painting other people's treasured pets, Dirty Paw was born.

Dirty Paw's Process

Capture

Once you reach out through the "Contact" page & begin correspondence, you will be able to send as many photos of your pet as you'd like. From there, you can also share any insights, quirks or anything else that may help me capture the uniqueness of your pal's personality.

Create

Based on the photos and insights that you provide, we can quickly collaborate on any sort of theme or color scheme you might already have in mind. If not, no worries at all! I will begin brainstorming and get to work on a digital sketch & rendering of your furry companion.

Canvas

Using non-toxic, water-based inks & acrylics, your pet will begin to come alive on the canvas size of your choosing.
Upon completion, (Which usually takes around 4 weeks, or possibly sooner, depending on the current volume of orders) your premium, mounted canvas will be ready for shipment & awaiting to adorn the walls of your's or your loved one's home.

"The One Where Dirty Paw Was On The Ellen Show"

A special shout out from a very good friend of the Paw, Evan Rachel Wood, on "The Ellen Show."
